It is with great pleasure and honor to be President of PACTA. I would like to extend my warm greeting to all esteemed members of Association for their confidence in me to take up this responsibility.

The tremendous advancement in the field of cardiac surgery could not have been possible without the advancement in the field of Cardiac Anaesthesia.

Pakistan Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia was formed with intension to promote excellence in clinical care, education and research in this growing sub specialty

During my tenure it will be my wish to the bring all Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiologist closed together conduct hands on workshops in all provinces, establishment of vibrant website and regular publication of newsletter where all colleagues share their articles, regular academic activities and as PACTA community will try more communication with regional and international CTA societies.

I want to appreciate our senior colleagues struggle to keep the tradition of organizing conferences and hope with the support of cabinet and executive committee these activities will continue utilizing modern technology as there is always room for improvement.

Let’s all work together to keep our country’s flag flying high.
